Enter to win the 2025 “MRE Favorite Car!”
Voting is serious business!At MRE on Friday (Jan 10) Cub Scouts competing in the Pinewood Derby can wear their uniforms to school and bring in their cars to be judged by a jury of their peers during lunch period.
Cars are lined up on the windowsill in the Cafeteria. 2nd through 5th graders vote on their favorites!
Overall winner – the “MRE Favorite Car” – is awarded a plaque during a ceremony at the conclusion of the race on Saturday and his victory is proclaimed during during Monday morning announcements!
Cars are “impounded” upon arrival at school, kept safe and set up by Mr. Tarver and parent volunteers for display at lunch, the returned at dismissal.
