9-to-1 Campout (Arrow of Light Den)

Joint overnight campout for Cub Scout Arrow of Light Den and Lancaster Boy Scout Troop 1. This campout, led by the Boy Scouts, includes all of the Requirements for two Arrow of Light Adventures: “Outdoorsman” and “Scouting Adventure.”

Note: these Adventures are very difficult to cover off outside the 9-to-1 campout as the weather becomes inhospitable for 11-year-olds to complete the Outdoorsman Requirements and the “Scouting Adventure” requirements necessitate cooperative activity with the Boy Scout Troop. The Arrow of Light patch, earned at the conclusion of this year, is the only Cub Scout patch that a boy permanently displays on his Boy Scout uniform and there is no way to earn the patch once the boy becomes a Boy Scout.
